About

My name is Trevor, I'm a Canadian glassblower based out of Burlington, Ontario.  My glass addiction started way back when I wasn't even a teenager and first saw red hot gobs of molten glass being shaped into beautiful things.  There was just something about it - the heat, the transformation, the surety and swiftness of the glassblower's movements.  Working with glass is something special.

I knew I wanted to get involved with glass, so while completing a geological engineering degree I set up my next steps - joining a two-year technical glassworking school in northern Italy.  At Vetroricerca in Bolzano I learned about glass from every angle.  Stained glass windows, pate de verre, sculpting, sandblasting, industrial glass, installing and replacing windows, mirrors, glass chemistry, furnace work, lampwork, glazing, slumping, fusing, coldworking - every week we covered a new topic and I gained an incredible insight into glass as a material.

While the possibilities are truly endless, through all my experiences I knew I wanted to work with hot glass.  Furnace-style glassblowing is truly an amazing art, but the growth of the North American lampworking movement has really opened up the world of glassblowing.   I've been blowing glass since 2012 and loving the journey so far.  Thanks to everyone has helped me along the way,
