Another new tech for me in 2019, crushed opal has proven a lot more complex than it seems on the surface. I started off making crushed opal mixes, unfortunately in some cases (like this piece) one of the opals would burn out easier than the others, which takes away from the glam. This piece appears to have about half burnt opals, the other half still sparkle brightly, especially the green opal.
